Do I need payroll software?

No. We use professional payroll software and provide you with clear reports and digital payslips — no software access or setup is required from you.

What information do you need to run payroll?

We provide simple templates to collect employee details and payroll information. Before each payroll run, you’ll confirm pay details, changes, and approvals.

Do you submit payroll to HMRC?

Yes. We submit all required RTI filings to HMRC, including FPS and EPS submissions, based on information provided for processing and approved by the client.

When are payslips issued?

Payslips are issued digitally on or before payday.

Do you set up workplace pensions?

Yes. We set up workplace pension schemes, including NEST, and manage auto-enrolment assessments, contributions, and ongoing processing.

Are we legally compliant if you manage our pensions?

We manage the processes, assessments, and submissions required to support pension compliance. However, legal responsibility for pension compliance remains with the employer.

Do you complete the Pensions Regulator declaration?

We support and prepare the information required for the declaration of compliance. Final responsibility for submission rests with the employer.

Do you submit CIS300 returns?

Yes. We prepare and submit monthly CIS300 returns and issue CIS deduction statements to subcontractors.

Is it difficult to switch payroll providers?

No. We manage the transition, request year-to-date payroll data, and ensure figures are carried forward correctly. With your authorisation we can liaise with your previous provider to make switching as smooth as possible.

Do you provide employment contracts and HR advice?

Employment contracts and HR support are provided by our independent HR partners. We do not provide employment law advice, and clients should review contracts for suitability before use.

Do you provide accounting or tax advice?

Accounting and tax services are provided via our trusted, regulated partner network. Any advice is given directly by those partners under their own professional regulation, insurance, and engagement terms.

Are your partners independent businesses?

Yes. Our HR, accounting, and tax partners are independent businesses. They are responsible for the services and advice they provide, and clients may enter into separate agreements with them.

How do you protect employee data?

Where is our data stored?

Payroll data is stored securely using GDPR-compliant payroll software and systems.

Are we tied into a long-term contract?
